Leadership
ADC is governed by an elected Board of Directors. It is the duty of the ADC Board of Directors to carry out the purposes and objectives of the organization.
The ADC Board of Directors is vested with the responsibility to ensure the smooth functioning of ADC. This include the powers, accountability and authority to: uphold and execute the organization’s purposes; develop and implement annual programmes, appoint and remunerate agents and employees; disburse funds of ADC; purchase, lease, sell, transfer and otherwise convey property; and establish and adopt such policies, rules, and regulations for the conduct of its business, responsibility, and authority as will be deemed advisable, insofar as any exercise or delegation of authority is consistent with, and does not conflict with, the Articles of Incorporation or Bylaws of ADC (in their present form or as amended), or applicable law.
Members of the Leadership Team are:

Membership
Membership is open to persons residing in the DIASPORA and must meet the following membership categories:
- Membership in ADC shall be open to any person residing outside of Nigeria with parental origins from one of the ten villages of Afaha Clan consisting of Ikot Obong, Ikot Esse, Ikot Obiokon, Nto Nsek, Ikot Ebak, Nsasak, Ikot Ada Uto, Ikot Akpan Eka, Ikot Akpan Essiet, and Ikot Ukpong.
- Spouses of Afaha persons are also eligible to be members.
- Children of Afaha persons are also eligible to be members.
- Honorary membership, for the purpose of partnership shall be made available to organizations subject to the approval by majority members of ADC.
The individual must demonstrate interest in the declared purposes of ADC and will uphold the requirements and membership qualifications of these Bylaws and applicable ADC policies, established by the ADC Board of Directors.
Qualified persons seeking membership will be accepted as members of ADC upon the payment of membership dues as stipulated in the section for Financial Obligations.
Member rights are defined as the opportunity to vote on ADC matters and to hold elected or appointed office, as defined in these Bylaws. Privileges are defined as those tangible and intangible benefits, products and services offered to member of ADC. The ADC Board of Directors shall recommend the privileges associated with membership for house approval.
One time Membership fee is $100 per person. Initial Annual Dues (in 2020) shall be between Three Hundred Dollars ($200.00) and Five hundred dollars ($300) per person.
